there is also this: 'The sides have not met competitively since a notorious European Cup semi-final in 1965 when Inter went on to lift the trophy for a second year in a row.
The Italians won 4-3 on aggregate but their 3-0 second leg win in the San Siro was shrouded in accusations that the referee was bribed to ensure Liverpool lost.'
Holy Crap!!!!!!!! This will be the best and worst thing EVER! I can't even DEAL with it! I'm already stressed out! I guess the good thing is, no matter what, i'll be happy who goes through.
I still stand by my prediction of an Inter Treble this year. So:
1-1 Anfield 2-0 Inter at the San Siro
And to jump right into the battling smack talk in regards to the 1965 final: Inter was the only team in Italy NOT to be found guilty of match fixing. They are legit. Fear the Black and Blue. Fear the Argitalians.

gotta disagree there... but i guess if you're right, that means we don't have to worry about celtic's one euro cup win ever coming up. so we got that going for us... which is nice [grin]
thankfully, i don't have that problem, as liverpool won it only two years ago. whew!
I'll take that, as I prefer to live in the here and now, not rekindle the glory of long ago. I think that there are some strong 2 seeds that have been absolutely shafted and some 1 seeds that have it easy. How did Porto and Sevilla miss Lyon, Liverpool, Arsenal and Roma? Weak.
Hey...... at least if you are going to receive a beating its by Barca. Nothing...... and I mean nothing pissed me off more than Inter losing to gay Valencia and gay Morientes last year.
Cole you should be ashamed of being a fan of them.

couldn't be happier... not that one of our teams will be out, naturally, but that it's gonna be a damn good time.
i have to disagree. regardless of league form, i still say:
2-1 l'pool at anfield.
0-0 at milan.

Speaking of poor luck of the draw.
Barcelona? Ouch.
0-0 Celtic Park
0-1 Barcelona
Losing the way Celtic do best.

you hit it on the head though... how did all the 'weakest' team get each other?
fener-sevilla?
porto-schalke?
the fix is in... and we shouldn't be surprised i guess.
