with one game to go this afternoon, c+c vs. sim is still up for grabs... if liverpool win (by no means a given these days), c+c edge this defensive struggle by one. If not, sim goes on to the final on away goals.
and more amazingly, johnny still has a shot of overturning a 0-4 first leg deficit. he leads the second leg 4-2 with two chances remaining. some combination of two goals from torres today and ac milan on wednesday and he'd win on away goals.
in both cases, juventus' surprising 0-0 draw played a big part in keeping games alive for the first leg underdog. bring on liverpool-villa...

Man, I'm glad Liverpool sucks. All I needed this week was yet another Chelsea victory to seal the deal. I just hope and pray Benitez doesn't get fired....it would mean the Reds might actually get better.
