Whatever. He's not leaving. Sensationalist British Media. And if they did kick him out that would be RETARDED. Let us not forget that he has taken the Reds to the Champions League TWICE in the last 3 years..... and WON it once. That's more than any other manager in the Premiership.
James, you may not be familiar with the Champions league since NONE of the teams you root for (not sure who they really are) ever really do anything in this competition, but it is the premier competition between all the teams in Europe. You should check it out! www.uefa.com.
Going back to some great insight from a legendary Tim Cooper, the priority order as I recall was:
Win the Premiership Win the Champions League Win the FA/Carling cup
So going back to the last 4 years, Liverpool hasn't placed higher than 3rd in the table at the end of the season, which is the worst historic results of the big 4 in that time period. It has been 18 years since they accomplished the biggest priority (and if you are keeping score, lowly Blackburn has won the Premiership during that span).
Rafa's only redeeming accomplishment came at the hands of a heroicly epic comeback. You can hold onto your preconceived notions of how great of a manager he is, and I will laugh when someone other that Liverpool wins the table every year.
